In Vietnam, homemade wings usually don’t use much flour. But what makes ours special is the tasty coating that makes them extra delicious. Try out the recipe below and see for yourself!
Vietnamese Fried Wings

Ingredients
5pcs Chicken wings
1T Mince Garlic
1T Garlic mayo (optional)
1T Pre-seasoned deep fried flour
1T oil for basting
Dip (optional)
1T Garlic Mayo
1T Chili sauce
Directions
- Pat your chicken dry for crispy skin, sprinkle some flour and baste with oil. then bake at 180C for 15 minutes – flip halfway through
- In a non-stick pan, mix oil and fish sauce. Sauté until wings are coated, then add mince garlic and sauté for another 3 minutes until fragrant
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving for the juiciest experience
Note
- Make sure your chicken is well patted to prevent soggy skin
To check if your wings are fully cooked: Pierce them near the bone; if the juices run clear, they’re done!
